Noticed a magpie in the back yard last weekend. He's back again today, nestled in the grass by the garden. He looked a little nervous as I settled on the back step with my camera, but he didn't move much. The reason for that became apparent as he can't seem to put any weight on his right leg. Its claw is all curled up and he doesn't like putting any weight on it. 

He picked a good weekend to be in our yard. Kids and dog are away for a couple of days so he'll get some peace and quiet. So long as he doesn't mind a big white bunny bouncing around, he should be okay for a rest here until tomorrow afternoon.
